From October 8 to 13, 2024, savour a carefully curated lunch menu during the most auspicious days of Durga Puja at INR 999.
To mark the beginning of the festive season, Club Verde recently hosted a special buffet preview in the hotel’s banquet hall. “We wanted to create an experience that truly captures the essence of Durga Puja, not just through décor and ambience, but through the authentic flavours of Bengal. The Devipaksher Mahabhoj is designed to offer our guests a culinary journey that reflects the festive joy and cultural richness of the season,” said Sushanta Garai, Unit Head of Club Verde.
Club Verde’s Devipaksher Mahabhoj promises a diverse selection of dishes, offering a perfect blend of traditional Bengali flavours with a contemporary twist. Each day begins with refreshing welcome drinks such as Gandharaj Sorbot, Pudina Patar Sorbot, and Aam Poda Sarbot, setting the stage for the indulgent feast ahead. The starters feature a delightful assortment of vegetarian options like Thakur Barir Cutlet, Kumro Phuler Fuluri, Mochar Narkol r Badam Chop, and Bokphuler Bora, bringing authentic tastes of Bengal to the table. Non-vegetarian lovers can savour delicacies like Fish Kobiraji, Gandhoraj Fish Finger, Royal Bengal Chicken Fry, and the flavorful Bhapa Chicken, each packed with vibrant flavours.
The main course is an even more lavish affair, starting with staple items such as Sadha Bhaat with Ghee, Bengali Fried Rice, and Khichuri. These are paired with iconic vegetarian dishes like Dhokar Dalna, Aloo Jhinga Posto, Chaanar Paturi, and Mochar Ghonto. Non-vegetarian delights include crowd favourites such as Doi Katla, Mutton Duckbunglow, and Kolkata Style Mutton Biryani, all made with authentic ingredients and traditional recipes.
