KOLKATA: Pexora, a joint venture between PromotEdge and Prodigy Communications, and the exclusive distribution partner of Xtreme Media—India’s largest LED display company and the country’s only manufacturer—has outlined its intent to support the development of a digitally enabled urban ecosystem in West Bengal, with a strong focus on Kolkata.
The initiative is aimed at gradually transforming the state’s outdoor communication landscape through the adoption of advanced Digital LED infrastructure. By enabling dynamic, real-time content delivery, the approach seeks to move beyond traditional static formats toward a more flexible and engaging medium for public communication, advertising, and information dissemination.
Aligned with the broader vision of urban modernization, Pexora is exploring opportunities to collaborate with the Government across multiple avenues, including public-private partnerships (PPP), tenders, and other strategic initiatives. The objective is to contribute to infrastructure that enhances city aesthetics, improves public convenience, and supports a more connected and communicative environment.
The announcement was made in the presence of Mr. Nitin Jain, Partner, Pexora; Mr. Saurav Agarwal, Partner, Pexora; and Mr. Sanket Rambhia, Managing Director, Xtreme Media & LEDX Technology.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Nitin Jain, Managing Director, Pexora, said “We are very confident that this business is bound to grow in this market as well, and this is our commitment to exploit and leverage that potential. Right now, we are providing 360-degree advertising solutions—from creation, signages, and launch events to digital media promotions. We are actively in talks with the West Bengal government and urban development authorities to digitally transform public spaces like bus stands and gantries, enhancing city aesthetics, driving local tourism, and controlling environmental waste caused by traditional static hoardings.”
Mr. Sanket Rambhia, Managing Director, Xtreme Media & LEDX Technology said "“Unlike static hoardings which incur recurring printing and distribution costs while generating non-recyclable flex waste, digital LED displays provide a eco-friendly, cost-effective, and dynamic multi-campaign solution. As a 100% Indian company with complete R&D and manufacturing based in India, our focus goes beyond selling screens; we are building a complete, reliable ecosystem—offering up to 7-year warranties and local service support—that generates widespread business opportunities for fabricators, consultants, and technical service providers across the region.”
Mr. Sanket Rambhia noted that such initiatives represent a convergence of technology, media, and infrastructure, contributing to a more future-ready and dynamic communication environment across urban centers.
As part of this ongoing effort, Pexora will also be launching its Experience Centre in Kolkata on 25th–26th September, supported by a comprehensive after-sales ecosystem that includes servicing, fabrication, installation, commissioning, and spares—ensuring seamless execution and long-term reliability.
