Rachnakaar Honoured Cultural Excellence at Its 5th Annual Awards in Kolkata

#PRIYO CHITROSATHI NEWS💐
Kolkata, 7th September 2025 – In a resplendent evening devoted to Indian literature, music, dance, theatre, and visual arts, Rachnakaar – the flagship cultural initiative of the Shuktika India Foundation – celebrated its 5th Annual Award Ceremony with grandeur at Bharatiya Bhasha Parishad, Kolkata.
Founded by Sri Suresh Choudhary – renowned chartered accountant, thinker, philosopher, writer, and poet – Rachnakaar has grown into a movement that breathes life into India’s cultural heritage. Under the banner of Shuktika India Foundation (est. 2016), Rachnakaar was launched in 2019 with a mission to preserve timeless traditions, encourage young talent, and honour veterans who have dedicated their lives to the arts.
The evening was marked by glittering performances, heartfelt recitations, and moments of inspiration as the awards were conferred across generations – from children as young as six to stalwarts of Indian culture. The packed auditorium echoed with applause, reflecting the pride of a nation in its artistic wealth.
Adding to the grandeur were eminent dignitaries: Shri Sovandeb Chattopadhyay, Hon’ble Minister of Agriculture and Parliamentary Affairs, Government of West Bengal; Smt Rachna Banerjee, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Hooghly as Chief Guests,  along with distinguished Guests of Honour – Smt Priyadarshini Hakim, General Secretary, All India Trinamool Mahila Congress; Smt Manisha Bose, Councillor, Ward 87, Kolkata Municipal Corporation; and Shri Vishwambar Newar, Managing Director, Taza TV & Chief Editor, Chhapte Chhapte. Their presence lent tremendous strength to Rachnakaar’s mission of cultural preservation and youth encouragement.
Adding a deeply moving dimension to the evening, special children presented a soulful group singing performance, which touched every heart in the hall. Equally inspiring was the performance by underprivileged children from an NGO, to whom Rachnakaar also extended its support through a special donation, reinforcing its commitment not only to art and culture but also to social responsibility.
