Kolkata, 25th June 2025: A significant medical symposium on Women’s Health was successfully held at Princeton Club, Kolkata, on Wednesday, 25th June 2025. The event brought together distinguished doctors from various specialties, including oncology, orthopedics, dermatology, and gynecology, who shared valuable insights on issues affecting women's physical and mental well-being.
The event was curated by Launcherz Public Relations & Events, with JIMS Hospital serving as the official health partner. The Princeton Club acted as the venue, food, and hospitality partner for the evening.
The expert panel featured Brigadier (Dr.) Barun Datta, Orthopedic Consultant at RN Tagore Hospital; Dr. Neha Choudhary, Senior Consultant in Breast Oncology at Narayana Health; Dr. Debojyoti Tapadar, Professor and HOD, Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, JIMSH; and Dr. Aniruddha Ghosh, Professor, Department of Dermatology, JIMSH; Dr. Krishna Poddar, Director, Kolkata Pain & Spine centre and Dr. Anjula Binaykia, Obstetrician and Gynaecologist Laparoscopic surgeon. Each specialist brought valuable insights from their field, highlighting the need for collaborative care models to ensure comprehensive women’s health.
Each expert addressed pressing health issues that women face today—ranging from orthopedic challenges and breast cancer awareness to dermatological conditions and reproductive health.
The event was well-attended by healthcare professionals and members of the community. The focus was on holistic health care for women, with an emphasis on early diagnosis, prevention, and the importance of specialized care.
